Civil registry

The Verbania State Archives hold the following fonds:

– Napoleonic civil status (1807-1814) produced by the municipalities of the current province included in the former department of Agogna;

– Parish registers (1838-1865);

–Post-unification civil status (1866-1899) for registers of birth, marriage, death, citizenship (mostly changes of residence) produced in second copy by the municipalities of the current province. The pre-unification sections have many gaps. The fonds are inventoried and available for consultation.

Army census

Sources from the Military District of Turin concerning conscription lists (1923-1932) are inventoried and available for research. The conscription lists for previous periods are kept at the State Archives in Novara.

Recruitment number and military draw number

The matriculation sheets for the periods prior to 1926 are kept at the Novara State Archives.
