Types of cookies

According to the characteristics and use of cookies we can distinguish different categories:

  1. Technical cookies:
    • Navigation, functionality and session cookies used for the sole purpose of ensuring the proper functioning of the site;
    • analytics cookies used to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself with the aim of continuous improvement of functionality, organization of content, support for different platforms and browsers.

The Ancestors Portal exclusively uses cookies of this type.

Duration of cookies

The cookies used by the “Antenati” portal end their validity at the end of the session or after a period of inactivity on the part of the user fixed by the server.

Third party technical cookies

The “Antenati” Portal makes use of the Google Analytics service that installs technical cookies of the analytics type used to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site. This information is used for the purpose of continuous improvement of functionality, content organization, support of different platforms and browsers.
