Army census

The Como Recruitment Office holds the Recruitment Lists (classes of 1897-1916) of the cities of the Varese Province, subdivided in the Angera, Arcisate, Busto Arsizio, Cuvio, Gallarate, Gavirate, Luino, Maccagno, Saronno, Somma Lombardo, Tradate and Varese departments.

Recruitment number and military draw number

The Institute holds the following files:

– Varese Military District, which holds the registries of the Draft Cards and military records, personal fascicles and lists (classes of 1842-1944);

– the Como Military District holds the Draft Cards (classes of 1915-1920) of the male residents of the Varese Province.
