On the day after the 150th anniversary of his birth, on the page From the register to History, we publish the birth certificate of Luigi Einaudi (1874-1961), the second President of the Italian Republic (1948-1955) and a major figure in the political and economic history of our country, on the page From the Register to History. Prior to his presidency, he held prominent economic and academic posts and was the author of numerous contributions in support of the democratic, free market and international cooperation principles in which he firmly believed and on which he based all his thinking and political action.
