The State Archives of Chieti, with the Lanciano section, preserves the fund called Civil Status Acts from 1809 to 1930 from the municipalities in the area now in the province of Chieti.

The Chieti Military District (Classes 1843-1943), L’Aquila and Sulmona Military Districts (Classes 1914 – 1937) collections collect the matriculation rolls of enlisted conscripts (privates, non-commissioned officers and aviation specialists) with alphabetical rubrics and Milizia Volontaria L’Aquila-Sulmona, Colonial Military Districts (Classes 1909-1923).
