We published, in the Read family stories section, the short story entitled Un italiano oltre il mare by Gisela Astrid Bello Gomes Langowski.
Ms Gisela Astrid Bello Gomes Langowski, thanks to research carried out on the Ancestors Portal, reconstructs her family’s Italian origins, starting with her great-great-grandfather Bese Martorella who emigrated from Lagonegro (PZ) to Brazil in the second half of the 19th century. It was the birthplace of a large family, whose descendants still proudly nurture a strong connection to Italy.
