We published in the Read family stories, the short story entitled The Elegant Subversive – The Antifascist Life of Giacomo Schirone by Maria Schirone (Valenzano, Bari).
Ms Maria Schirone tells her family history through the figure of her paternal uncle, Mr Giacomo Schirone, a man of socialist and partisan ‘faith’ and a fighter against fascist thought and ideology.
