As part of “RootsTech Connect 2021”, an event organised by “FamilySearch” from 25 to 27 February in streaming mode, the European round table “RootsTech, The Archivists’ Meeting” took place with the directors of major European archives.
The aim of the initiative was to share the best experiences in digitisation and access to archival collections and to explore new strategies, technologies and methods for the preservation of this heritage.
On the Youtube channel of the General Directorate for Archives of the Ministry of Culture, the video of the speech of the General Director and responsible for the portal Antenati, Dr. Anna Maria Buzzi, has been published.
