On the page From the register to History, on the occasion of the 116th anniversary of his birth, we publish the birth certificate of Alberto Moravia (1907-1990), one of the most prolific pens of the Italian twentieth century: a journalist and writer, winner of a Premio Strega (1952) and a Premio Viareggio (1961), as well as an essayist, playwright, film critic, and member of the European Parliament. Moravia, with his complex and layered vision of human existence, still represents a valuable heritage for the Italian literary scene.
