Marital status

The Brescia State Archives hold Civil status records of births, marriages, deaths with indexes and annexes from the Napoleonic period (1806-1814), and Italian civil status records of the municipality of Brescia and the municipalities aggregated to it (1880-1928): Brescia, Caionvico, Fiumicello Urago, Mompiano, San Bartolomeo, San Nazzaro, Sant’Alessandro and Sant’Eufemia della Fonte.

L’Istituto conserva le Liste di leva e le liste di estrazione per le classi (nati ) 1803-1933 e 1934-1939. Le fonti sono inventariate ed è in corso una schedatura analitica delle liste di leva (disponibili dati completi per gli anni 1903-1905). I fondi sono soggetti a periodici incrementi delle serie.

Matriculation sheets and roles

The draft cards of the classes between 1874 and 1925 from the Brescia District and of the classes between 1875 and 1925 from the Treviglio District, which contain information about the military service of each recruit (privates and non-commissioned officers) until his discharge.
